This week I have been really trying to boost my health and focus on general wellbeing as I have been a bit poorly. It is important to look after yourself and I feel like now is the time when it really counts!
First things first: food. We are what we eat. There for, I must be 'The Good Life Eatery' on Sloane Avenue. I am obsessed with this place! It's been open a while now and is killing it. My favourite is the lean and green bowl with extra avocado.
I often meet Millie there for a post gym girlie catch up. They do a smoothie called the Choc Norris, which is basically a super food version or a chocolate milkshake. Heaven.
It is always busy, and sometimes hard to get a table. But worth the wait!
I decided if I am going for this health thing I might as well really go for it. So I went to the Revive spa in Knightsbridge to get a 'RoyalFlush UV drip'. Bear in mind I am terrified of injections, so I pretty much had a panic attack. After a bit of hyperventilating I calmed down, but this was quite an extreme thing to do, and I would really only do it when you really need a boost and feel depleted. Like post Vegas or Ibiza!
I have never been a huge fan of botox/ fillers etc and I think the best way to stay looking young is through eating well and looking after your skin. I went and got a Hydradermie2 facial from Guinot in Mayfair, hands down best facial I've ever had! My skin has never looked or felt better. It was a really lovely experience and I will definitely be going back regularly. This facial in particular does a bit of everything. So caters for all skin types.
Next stop on the beautifying regime is my hair. I go to Paul Edmonds in Knightsbridge. Recently I got a keratin treatment there, and my hair has benefited so much. If you have frizzy, out of control hair like me I recommend this. It has really helped it grow also! But this week I went in for cut and colour, finding the right shade of blonde is an art form and Stephen is my artist. Ask for Stephen for colour and Jenny for cut. Best hair salon in London. Fact.
In the world of fashion I went for a browse in Harvey Nichols shoe department. And here are my picks..
Sophia Webster. She is a genius with her use of colour and textures. So fun and summery.
These gold beauties are from Gianvito Rossi. I adore them.
And I'm obsessed with these wedges by Charlotte Olympia. They are so fun. I am a big fan of wedges.
Decided that the shoe department in Harvey Nichols is either heaven on earth, or hell. Depending on your bank balance.
On my wish list:
1. Opening ceremony posted this. I love gold and silver and think it looks cool to wear them together..
Iswai has a new gold/silver necklace which you can get here.
2. Michael Kors
As I feel the summer approaching Michael Kors comes to mind: the brand epitomises luxury travel and I love this set above.
Coachella is approaching and I am thinking of outfits already... A must for me is an over sized Tee, denim shorts and gypsy boots.
On the music side of life I was invited to go see Sam Smith at Brixton. It was such a special evening. He is so talented and deserves all the success he has found.
Outfit of the week:
Out for dinner at Zuma, and finally wore my new Stella McCartney boots. Dress from TAGS in LA and bag from Aspinal of London.
Babe / Look of the Week:
Doutzen Kroes wearing We Are Handsome Swimsuit. I have always loved this brand!
Life Goal: to look like this wearing one of their pieces....
